Brian May Super

The objective of the BM Super was for it to be positioned between the affordable Korean made BMG guitar and the high end hand-made Andrew Guyton, Red Special guitar. The BM Super was designed to be a high quality production model, which also offered some unique quality handmade features.

    • “Burns Trisonic” Red Special pickup set developed by Adrian Turner and Greg Fryer to the original specifications and tonal nuances of Brian May’s Red Special Trisonic pickups. The new pickups differ in several important areas compared to standard Trisonic

    • Modified 7.25″ radius Wilkinson roller bridge
    • Mahogany body and top with original spec acoustic chambers and original size white binding
    • Original Brian May style tremolo tailpiece and original spec tremolo arm

    • Reinforcing plate inlaid into guitar body at the output jack area to avoid accidental splitting damage of timber
    • Scratchplate has shielding under entire surface area to reduce finger static noise and to assist in shielding from electrical and RF noise
